Things To Do In Vegas With Kids

Written by: Jennifer Gormly

Las Vegas is not always the most kid-friendly destination, but there are plenty of things to do in Vegas with children. Here are my three favourites:

1. M&M World

Located on the strip near the MGM Grand, M&M World creates a fun fantasy land full of candy and fun merchandise. Kids will love choosing their favourite coloured M&Ms from a whole wall of colours. And when you need a break, there is a free 3D M&M movie playing on the top floor.

2. The dessert

Las Vegas is surrounded by a multitude of natural wonders including the Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Bryce Canyon, the Valley of Fire and Death Valley. The closest of these is Red Rock Canyon which is located about 10 miles west of Las Vegas - perfect for a short break from the Strip. Destinations like the Grand Canyon and Death Valley will require a full day of exploration but are well worth the effort. Get in the car or take a tour and explore all that the dessert has to offer.

3. Rides

There is an abundance of amusement park rides in Vegas. While most kids won't be up for the thrill rides at the Stratosphere, they will love the roller coaster at New York New York. The Circus Circus Hotel Adventuredome is a popular choice as it is home to a huge indoor theme park featuring everything from thrill rides to carnival games and free clown shows.

There are so many things to do in Vegas with children. Get out there and have some fun!
